Walmart is arguing that they should be exempt from any and all liability due to the fact that Tracy Morgan was not wearing a seatbelt. It's as if they're claiming that Morgan would have been injured even if the Walmart big-rig had not slammed into his car. They're suggesting that there was NO cause and effect which can be attributed to the involvement of their truck.
