Looks like this paper has received a reasonable response. The suggestion is that she needs to have her maths correspond with other folks' observations.

At the same time, she seems to be arguing for a less paradoxical, more rules-based universe. More Newton than Einstein.

No help for the electric theory folks. It's all about the traditional four forces.

But the start of an interesting discussion amongst "stone age" physicists.

Up until now I thought you believed in the electric universe theory.

Sounds like you've jumped into plasma cosmology, which isn't the same thing, even if electric universe people like to claim it.

The existence of plasma isn't in question. Plasma and gravity are not contradictory.

Reading about him, far as I can tell, Alfven never claimed to believe in an electric universe, never questioned gravity and didn't believe in the big bang. He thought our solar system was unusual in being organised around matter. Which is to say, he believed in localised gravity.

But he has been criticised because his hypothesis doesn't explain things like cosmic background radiation.

I understand you believe in your theory. I'm going to stick with the scientific method, which always evolves, but which currently includes the notion of gravity in its architecture.
