PS:

My dad had a great sense of humor, I take after him ;))

Once I was married & had children I encouraged him to be a grandfather & visit. He did.

He had Parkinson disease in his early thirties.

Years later, my dad had surgery to freeze the part of his brain that caused tremors from Parkinson's disease, I took him in to live with me.

He stayed until it was to dangerous for him, my high ranch house wasn't the best with the stairs.

He died the same day Princess Diana did.
I sobbed for her & didn't shed a tear for dad.
He was finally free from his tormented body.

My father tried to tell the cop he was disciplining his kids too.

It worked with the rookie cop, but after I called the police the second time & requested a seasoned officer (I was 17 at the time) that officer came & drew his gun & told my father to sit on the chair & NOT to move a muscle.

He wasn't hitting us that night, he was insisting on 'sleeping' with my mom. She was in the process of divorcing him. He had been sleeping in the family room but came home drunk that night.

My Mom & the fours daughters moved out that night until we got an order of protection a few weeks later.

My 'dad' used a belt not a switch....
