...snappin turtles is curious critters. If ya want to get rid of em ya catch one and paint him white or silver (any light color) He will follow the other turtles and they will run from him. Chases em til one or the other dies.

My first firearm was a Stevens single shot, lever action, rolling block .22. A few years later,I got a brand new Remington .22, so I sawed the barrel and stock off the old Stevens and made it into a pistol.

The new rifle was also single shot, but heavy barreled and highly accurate. It was the Model 513T Matchmaster and came with peep sights. I did head shots on snapping turtles in our pond.
