FYI
I saw a video where a gunch of cops was standing in a circle around a perp when the perp pulled a knife.

...a gunch of cops is more than a few, but not quite a bunch.

...I figured that. Probably not making sure there is an clear field of fire before they open up. I saw a video where a gunch of cops was standing in a circle around a perp when the perp pulled a knife. Several cops opened fire and two were wounded. Friendly fire takes more than a few among cops and soldiers alike.
