it's mostly a numbers game. henry at liverpool seems to be investing in players. mourinho at chelsea has made some excellent improvements. arsenal's stadium is now paid for and although a few players short, they have a fabulous midfield. and man city has its oil money and great players.
whereas the set-up at man utd looks a bit like the one at wave, albeit starting from a position of strength. this has led to underinvestment in the team thus far, although there is still a little time left. looks like the glazers have beheaded the golden goose - man utd's cash machine.
think man utd doesn't break into top four.
