Our area has over 3,000 windmills right now. Many of them are not making money for the land owners because there is not a way to transport the electricity. They built all the windmills and now they are building the power lines. They should have built the power lines first but the government only paid them to build the windmills.

Wyoming Approves Largest U.S. Wind Farm

While it may not be known for environmental liberalism, state regulators in Wyoming just voted unanimously to approve a $5 billion project that would be the largest onshore wind farm in the U.S. The proposal to build up to 1,000 turbines in Carbon County by Power Company could 10 million megawatts hours annually. The next step in the project includes two environmental assessments by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, as well as a permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for eagle take permits, which allows the company to kill a certain number each year for conservation.
