Hi keystone,

The people of Israel & Gaza are educated & have a history they need to review.

Obviously doing the same thing & expecting different results is insanity.

That goes for us too.
America can't continue supporting bad actors.
There must be a price to pay, carrots & sticks.

By the rude bridge that arched the flood,
Their flag to April's breeze unfurled,
Here once the embattled farmers stood,
And fired the shot heard round the world.

The foe long since in silence slept;
Alike the conqueror silent sleeps;
And Time the ruined bridge has swept
Down the dark stream which seaward creeps.

On this green bank, by this soft stream,
We set to-day a votive stone;
That memory may their deed redeem,
When, like our sires, our sons are gone.

Spirit, that made those heroes dare,
To die, and leave their children free,
Bid Time and Nature gently spare
The shaft we raise to them and thee.

Emerson did say it best.

When you stand at Lexington-Concord where they fired the shot heard round the world there are the two graves of English soldiers who died there that day and this monument stone.

Somewhere in the Holyland there are enough human beings to stop killing each other.

Tomorrow and forever must ultimately merge and putting the other guys mom on a breadline makes you a barbarian.

If you can justify bombing a school or a hospital because there are rockets in the basement you are a subhuman.

There have to be minimal standards of conduct before you can identify an animal as human.

You don't kill women and children.
You don't kill the sick.
You don't kill the injured.
You don't kill the elderly.

The Israelis are right. The Palestinians are right.

That's a lot of nonsense.

Both sides are acting insanely.

It's the Hiroshima-Nagasaki conundrum.

How many people even know what Nagasaki is?

I doubt Netanyahu believes another 1,000 Palestinians dead enhances Israeli security?

Israel and Palestine are at war because both are broken societies.

The only obvious solution to the problem is cooperation.

The Israelis are terrified by the demographics and are too wary of the world to trust anybody.

If only Wolf Blitzer or Christiana Amanpour could figure this crap out!
