Hi Cactus Flower,

Folks said Carpetbagger Hillary didn't have a prayer becoming a NY senator.

She proved them wrong despite the odds.
She toured the entire state, listening to people.
She didn't take anything for granted. And she did this not long after the humiliation Bill laid on her after Monica. Proving she can take a punch.
She won twice.
And... gained the respect of many republicans.

Scandals were swirling and Gennifer Flowers was speaking out about her affair with Bill. Hillary went on 60 Minutes & stood by her man~
She didn't ride Bill's coattails, she shored him up & made it possible for him to win.

hi clo,

folks said obama didn't have a prayer against hc.

women's issues. sure, but what else? as a woman, representing women is a no-risk proposition.

in every other way, she appears to me to be a status quo stooge. can't think of a single issue for which she is at the forefront. where it involves her taking a risk. at least since healthcare, twenty years ago.

she isn't your average woman candidate seeking to do this on her own. she is bill's wife and she has ridden his coattails. i'd like the first woman president to be one who made her own career in politics, who has some obvious political accomplishments etc. what are hc's?

warren was the force behind consumer protection in the us. that is a big deal. hc has nothing comparable to show for her work. skittling around on an airplane is exhausting but what diplomatic structure did she build? what legislation is associated with her name in the senate? which hard choices did she make?

for me, she is a creature of incumbency. and the us needs so many things to change.
