verses 11 - 13
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
The Lord called out and gave the talent and abilities to some to be PASTORS, TEACHERS, EVANGELISTS, prophets, in order to proclaim to the people and body of Christ (the CHURCH) the WORD of GOD as found in the Holy Bible so we have instruction to LIVE BY, unifying the believers in the faith, and for the work of the ministry..... EVERY single saved person has been given an ability to help within the body of Christ doing something, even to just give someone a gospel tract in the envelope you ailed a payment off in. Someone will get that message of GOD'S love for them and his name was JESUS...
You know what?
GOD ALWAYS PROVIDES for HIS PLANS...
HE NEVER EVER has a shortage or is caught by surprise.
Know why I do not fret about tomorrow? Because HE is already there waiting for me to join HIM, and I am not safer anywhere than with GOD....
