hi doma,

folks judge likelihoods without worrying so much about the formality of a court decision.

we all remember who was shooting down planes at that time, who was thrilled to report that fact on social media, who claimed to have downed this plane immediately, who was reported to have supplied missile launchers to its ukrainian rebel actors, who took control of crimea etc.

so i make a judgement. but i am willing to be unpersuaded if someone with credibility emerges to challenge it. putin's people aren't going to suffice.

That is a theory at the moment that hasn't been proven in
a court of law,the Russians have a theory that a Ukraine jet
shot it down,again unproven in a court of law.....

Why is the Russian theory a conspiracy theory while the
US theory is treated as fact......both haven't yet been
proven.

A detective has a theory that persons A & B conspired to
Kill person C........that is technically a conspiracy theory
up until the point it is either proven or disproved in a
court of law......
