i didn't criticise you for making a purposive argument. but the immediate evidence appears to show that this was unintentional. we already know that the rebels have been shooting down aircraft. they simply hit the wrong type this time. reckless rather than deliberate.
as regards other countries misbehaving - i have also criticised the uk and us when they are the bad actors. eg i've bored everyone to death about surveillance, torture, drones etc, so you cannot make the claim that i have a habit of exhibiting sovereign prejudice. on the contrary, i've adopted the principle and not the nationality over and over.
but i don't only criticise the us and uk or pretend they are always wrong.
this is a discussion about putin's actions. it's his turn in the spotlight.
