So where Reagan was fully responsible,Putin you have judged
is only partially....

History is littered with western governments supplying rebels
with arms & then denying it........it's part of how all
governments have worked, how the arms trade works
& how the world works.......

no doma,

you brought it up using the usual tu quoque argument you often use. you are trying to say one cannot blame putin because other people also have done bad things.

but we are talking about putin in relation to this plane crash. he isn't cured by other folks' actions.

putin is guilty of arming and supporting the rebels in eastern ukraine and then denying it. the same rebels who just shot down a commercial airliner. they are his creatures even if he does not micromanage them.

consequently he bears partial responsibility for their actions.

he cannot admit his mistake because this would mean admitting he has lied about arming the rebels.

so he blames the ukrainian air for the problem.

but nearly everyone else sees his lie for what it is and also sees he bears some of the burden of responsibility. he has put powerful weapons and/or "military advisors" into the hands of reckless fools. they shot down an airliner. he is partly responsible.

if he was an innocent, he would acknowledge the problem and demand action against those responsible, whoever they might be.
