There is a belief that metals are good conductors of
electricity.....however the Royal Society came a cropper
with this belief system when they ran the first trans-atlantic
cable systems....they kept getting garbage out.
Then comes an englishman with his theory that metals
are in fact good obstructors of electricity, the Royal society
laughs in his face.....
Turns out this guy instantly solves their trans-atlantic
problem using his obstructor theory.....what's the end
result.......?The Royal Society says metals are good
conductors.....& the guy is forgotten.
A vote of hands in a royal society rules science,& they
don't like change no matter what experiments show!
