Tikkun olam (Hebrew: תיקון עולם or תקון עולם[1]) is a Hebrew phrase that means "repairing the world" (or "healing the world") which suggests humanity's shared responsibility to heal, repair and transform the world.
In Judaism, the concept of tikkun olam originated in the early rabbinic period. The concept was given new meanings in the kabbalah of the medieval period and has come to possess further connotations in modern Judaism.
Man is in God's image.
We honor god by honoring each other.
History suggests there is quite a bit of Jew in every one of us. Apparently not enough.
I am positive that after 4,000 years of Judaism a Jew is a not a person who can bomb a home in Gaza.
And then concoct a story to justify it.
The only advantage the Palestinians have is that their enemy is the Jews. Other than that, God has absolutely screwed them. After 4,000 years the Jews are more than their technical prowess in the sciences enabling the construction of high quality armaments.
All of Jewish history will be stained by the blood of every Palestinian child. Forever. A blood libel.
The Israelis can not build a world on the rubble of the Palestinian people. Neither is the child of a lesser god.
Peace is obviously the only solution.
If a Jewish nation can not turn a sword into a plowshare and make an enemy a friend, who else would you expect to do so?
Jerusalem is a problem. To the Mohammedans Jerusalem is a trilogy with Mecca and Medina. Muhammed flying to heaven directly from the top of the hill.
To Christians Jerusalem is where Jesus Christ changed the world. "Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid." Jewish boy from the Galilee.
To the Jews?
