I am sure a lot of people think it is preposterous to say this USSC would overturn the '64 Civil Rights Act. They've already gutted the Voter Rights Act. I see no reason at all that the Court would not gut the Civil Rights Act.
The Republican party is under the control of the most extreme elements of the right wing. We have a Republican Court. I see no indication that they won't bow to the most extreme right wing political goals. Striking down the provisions of the Voter Rights Act that was recently contested, is just the tip of the iceberg.
The USSC is just one thing. Look at the garbage coming out of the Republican controled state legislatures. There is every reason to be afraid.
