Hi Alea......

"i am not sure that the electric universe model is entirely distinct from what we have"

The Electric universe model says that Saturn was our primary Sun only about 12,000 years ago.....that the current alignment of the
planets is only thousands not billions of years old....i don't
think it could be more different than the current model.

when a well known cosmologist says that particles don't
exist & that was already a part of my "conspiracy" model,
i am not poo-pooing traditional physics i am cutting the
edge......

hi doma,

i think the search for truth in conspiracies is its own subject. and you have every right to pursue it. that doesn't mean i have to be interested.

i am not telling you your ideas are always wrong. i am saying that i am not interested in reading about a conspiracy interpretation of everything.

so a conspiracy board makes sense. not sure why you don't make it and post your ideas there, rather than arguing i have to read it. i don't want to. i don't have to.

as regards the electric universe theory, it seems to me that it is an interesting hypothesis that is somewhat at odds with the four forces model. but given the attempts of physicists to deliver a theory of everything, i think they are contemplating relationships of some sort between all four forces. so if we call the commonality "electricity" i am not sure that the electric universe model is entirely distinct from what we have. perhaps gravity is an expression of an "electrical" contracting force that we don't fully understand, rather like anti-polar magnetism.

but poo-pooing traditional physics isn't an approach i find useful. i am interested in understanding the electric hypothesis and whether it withstands attempts at refutation. construction-destruction. the scientific method.

for myself, i believe in opposition rather than coherence, so i am not a proponent of unification in physics. except to the extent of a single theory and environment of opposition.
