Alea......

so where is your maths??

If an engine can produce enough thrust at
sea level in level flight to travel at 700mph,
but is only rated to 340-380mph because of
airframe wear & tear.....roughly what percentage
of available thrust is it then using at 340-380mpg
at sea level,level flight?

"So you are saying that at 0.53 Max Mach operating
the Engine is only operating at less than 40% or
so max thrust/Power,it has 60% more Power
available in reserve,50% odd more it is rated for."

curious maths again.
