ha. so now you are the expert and the simulator is nonsense and the airframe rating cannot be correct and the pilot is a shill.

i guess the authority of pilots is officially over.

what he says is that the air frame's ability to remain undamaged is constant in relation to the speed of sound. it doesn't matter what altitude the plane is at.

you may find it hard to accept that a mach fraction can be constant regardless of altitude. but it seems to be the way it works.

so as long as the aircraft has the thrust, it can reach the required velocity. and the simulator indicates the 767 has the thrust. the simulator is built to mimic reality. if the thrust isn't available, the simulator doesn't offer it. maybe you also missed that part of the article. the simulator has the same capabilities as the aircraft.

still not sure what point you are making about the air frame at 35,000 feet. or how you keep arriving at a figure of mach 1.2 when the airframe rating is .86.

who has claimed a 767 can go at mach 1.2 at any altitude? only you as far as i know. by all means show me a quote that indicates "my shill" thinks a speed of mach 1.2 is possible at 35,000 feet.

but the thing in play is whether a plane can reach a speed of 510 knots at less than 2,000 feet. this is the speed the radar recorded. and it appears it can. with plenty of thrust to spare.

and so your theory that 911 was a conspiracy because the plane exceeded what you thought was its maximum velocity has fallen apart. it has fallen apart because you mistook a maximum operating velocity for a maximum velocity and because you didn't account for wind speed. the plane was operating within a 767's capabilities. which isn't a surprise as lots of folks witnessed the event and saw commercial jets flying into the world trade centre.

Hi Alea.....

"A Boeing 767-200 airframe is rated to .86 of Mach speed (speed of sound) at any altitude before the risk of structural failure."

0.86 x 761mph at seal level=654mph
0.86 x 660mph at 35,000ft =580mph

A Boeing's airframe at sealevel is pushing 3 times
the air out the way as a Boeings airfame at 35,000ft
yet the Boeing at sealevel can endure more stress
than 35,000ft??This is nonsense....drag increases
with air density & velocity!

D = ½V2SCD

"Where is the density of the air, V is the velocity of the air (air speed), S is the surface area of the aircraft, and CD is the coefficient of drag."

I call your whole simulation nonsense....commercial
airplanes have never been flown at supersonic speeds
of Mach 1.2 at 35,000ft no matter what your shills say.

Engines have a finite Power not Infinite as in
your simulation.....
