hi doma,
citing unlinked sources of authority is never persuasive.
what i have written is a useable framework. if folks haven't used it or something like it, i suggest they may be charlatans. eg if they use ground speed to define air velocity against aircraft parameters, they are clearly ignorant of an important fact. tolerances are reached relative to conditions and not in spite of them.
so while you may wish to humble yourself to supposed higher authorities, i have no intention of doing so!! i shall make up my own mind based on the different moving parts of the equation.
are you perhaps using sources of authority to conceal limits in your own understanding? leaving only a tendency to believe in conspiracies to judge the likelihood of a series of events?
it's okay if so. but then you are not really in a position to have a strong opinion of your own.
