We spent Father's Day, a very long day, at our younger GrandDaughter's first run at Miss Teen California pageant... She spent all weekend, doing pre-final testings, auditions, and such for the judging panel. About 105 in the group from all over CA, but we found later, the books were stacked but a few SoCal pre-winners from other pageants, but all in all she had a great time, placed in the final 20, missed the top 5 by a smigeon, likely due to some backroom politickin' so some sadness in the end, but overall, she's very happy with it. Seems to be heading to trying again next year, depending on school, work, etc... All I know is I took a ton of pics, my feet hurt, and it will take a few days to really recover...
It's a different world, so many really beautiful teens of every ethnic group imaginable, I'd be proud to call any one of 'em my daughter...
