Nobody is talking about the death of physics....

We have 2 cosmological models....the first based
on consensus science where gravity is the predominant
force in the universe acting on planetary bodies.
The second based on fringe science where electromagnetism is the predominant force in the
universe acting on all bodies.

So all the impact predictions based on the first model
turned out 100% wrong while all the impact predictions
based on the 2nd model turned out 100% correct.

So now your model failed 100% you blame it on
the objects & their compositions......unreal!

Neither side had any more data than the other...
just different models.

Just like a bad workman blames his tools,a bad
cosmologist blames his cosmological objects...Smile

rumours of the death of physics have been exaggerated.

not sure which asteroid impact you are talking about. only non-planetary, non-lunar celestial object crater test i am aware of is an impact with a comet. different kind of object.

but new theories are always required as we extend the realm of our experience. that's the fun of discovery. until you impact a comet the first time, it's composition is a hypothesis.
