Good Evening OCU!

Interesting study for one of the "Whitest" areas of the United States. Oregon is about 2% Black.

I question the methodology of the study as well as some of the premises.

Having six people of two races walk across an intersection a few times is not a stable foundation for rational generalizations.

It's been a long time since I took Freshman Psychology, but independent observers watching people cross an intersection judging driver reaction is a bit of a long row to hoe for me.

It sounds like sophomoric bullshit.

The premise of course is proven by the result.
The problem is the methocology and subjective nature of the observation.

It seems pregnant with many unanswered questions.

I find it incredibly difficult to imagine that a study which is in itself based on race is going to come up with any well founded conclusions.

OCU:

I was really hoping that Obama could close the gap between black and white Americans. No such luck. Foreign immigrants may be pushing black Americans down a notch to third class citizens in their own country.
