I voted LAST week. With me traveling so much, when California offered the option to 'Vote by Mail', i.e. Permanent Absentee status, I signed-up immediately. Now the ballot is mailed to me automatically and as long as you don't miss, I think it's 3 elections in a row, you never need to reapply.
Shoot - I voted yesterday,but forgot to remind OCU and Weco. Doesn't really matter. Nearly all CA is Democrat now.
In my little neighborhood in U of C area - neighbors are either faculty (Liberal Democrats) or higher ranking law enforcement and lawyers (Conservative Republicans and Conservative Democrats). In the main - all really nice folks.
