It's our youngest son's 36th birthday today (just got back from taking him and his wife out for dinner to celebrate) and we just got word that our #2 son's 'significant other' just delivered their first child, Paloma Elise. So we have another granddaughter. At least this time we're closer and we'll be able to see her more often (they live near Pasadena, maybe 45 miles or so away).

Anyway, our surname, for at least our branch of the family, looks like it's going to die out. Between myself and my brother, we have 6 granddaughters and NO grandsons. Even my sister only has a granddaughter.

Will post pictures in a day or two.
