Oliver Stone to Direct Snowden Film
Leave it to the Hollywood chronicler of America’s dark side to take on the movie version of Edward Snowden. Oliver Stone said he will direct a movie based on The Snowden Files, a book chronicling how Snowden decided to leak the National Security Agency’s most-valuable secrets. Stone, who directed Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July, Wall Street, and JFK, among others, said “this is one of the greatest stories of our time.” No word yet on who will play Snowden.
