...nowhere near the truth. Not even a good guess. The folks who were really opposed desegregation were the limousine liberals who thught it would be a great thing for "other parts of the country" but not for them.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
