How so?
Logically, if a company underpays its employees,
its profit margin goes up. Greater profitability
means lesser likelihood of failure.

A more interesting question would be, where is Walmart
finding employees it can underpay?

High unemployment? Folks so desperate for work,
they will work for 'not enough'?

The company is the world's largest public corporation, according to the Fortune Global 500 list in 2014, the biggest private employer in the world with over two million employees, and the largest retailer in the world.

Good Morning Clo!!

I don't think divestiture is more than symbolic.
Which usually means a waste of time.

It's status as the largest retailer means that it is a part of a new and evolving model.

A company based upon underpaying it's employees will by necessity and logic fail.

Walmart is the biggest and arguably the best because it's workers have made it so.

A relationship like this does not thrive within dissension.
