(CNN) -- A suspected drone strike killed at least four al Qaeda militants Sunday in Yemen, officials said.
The attack took place in the southern province of Abyan, two senior defense ministry officials told CNN.
On Saturday, a drone strike in Yemen killed at least 10 suspected al Qaeda militants but also inadvertently resulted in the deaths of three civilian day laborers, a high-level Yemeni government official said.
The United States is the only country known to have conducted drone strikes in Yemen. As a rule, U.S. officials don't comment on these strikes.
