During the Oct to March enrollment period, 11.7 million people were determined eligible for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program and 7 million plus received GOP-approved, for-profit insurance coverage through the Exchanges at much higher cost than Medicaid.

On a sad note, spiteful, racist GOP Tea-Baggers in the Red States denied Medicaid coverage to 7.9 million poor people by opting out of the Obamacare Medicaid expansion. Medical researchers estimate that 7,000 to 17,000 people will die from preventable diseases as a result. What a proud legacy for the Republicans.
