Today's WORD comes from Romans 12 and verse 2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Friend, is THIS WORLD your eternal home? How many years will you live?
How many years have gone by just since the birth of Christ?
As you can see, the Bible is quite accurate when it says "for what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a moment and then vanishes away"
GOD Himself created us and BREATHED INTO ADAM LIFE from HIMSELF. God is eternal. He is forever!!! He gave US part of HIMSELF. We are MADE IN HIS OWN LIKENESS. WE ALSO ARE ETERNAL!
WHERE YOU spend eternity is why JESUS paid our sin debt on the cross. So that we may have LIFE more abundantly.
You see, SINFULNESS cannot enter into GOD's presence. He is HOLY and any who come into HIS KINGDOM must also be sinless and holy.
WHEN YOU accept JESUS CHRIST as SAVIOR, your sins are PURGED and CLEANSED and COVERED by the BLOOD HE SHED on the CROSS for your sins and my sins and the sins of the entire world.
"GOD is not willing that ANYONE should PERISH, but that ALL would come to REPENTANCE."
The renewing of your mind simply means to change your thought and belief from your current sinful thought without Christ, to HEAVENLY thoughts and HOW to please the ONE who loved YOU and GAVE HIMSELF for you!
If you have never accepted the free gift of eternal life from Jesus, why not trust HIM as your Savior today and have your name written in the LAMB's Book of LIFE so you too can be assured of having a home in Heaven and your new life in CHRIST can begin!
