Nobody is talking about disenfranchising anybody.
The government would be happy to issue some sort of
ID to anybody who needs one.

The problem is people voting who are not supposed to
vote.

The problem is dead people voting.

Another problem is the likes of ACORN (democrat
supporting) flooding the registration offices with
fraudulent voter applications. Why? First guess
would be so's they can have folks voting multiple
times - for democrap candidates.

As for jailing a bunch of crooked bankers . . . .
I'd love to see it.

I gotta ask . . Why hasn't obamba and his 'justice
department' gone after the crooked bankers?

(Probably because they would find themselves jailing
democrat campaign contributors.)

So disenfranchising a few million poor, elderly and minority voters is your solution, eh? In a free society, the resolution of a problem should be both appropriate and proportional. You don't punish a million innocent citizens for the acts of a few.

Come back when you're ready to apply that same ratio of punishment to criminals in the banking industry.
