Apparently you have no idea what Lake Superior looks like. It's hardly "totally froze over", but a fair amount of it is. And as I've said before, the operative term is 'CLIMATE CHANGE'. And don't forget, the Midwest and East Coastal areas makes-up a very portion of the Earth's surface. I'll bet that the people in Australia would debate you as to whether we're experiencing 'Global Warming' or not:
