...he could 'claim' that the kid he shot was a alien from outerspace. Stand your ground did not have anything to do with this shooting. Read the law.
remember, the only reason Dunn was found guilty is because he fired more shoots at the car with the three other teens in it.
...you wasn't on the jury and wasn't in the jury room. You don't know why.
the jury hung on the count 1, they weren't sure if Dunn's life was threatened, they hung on that count.
...it is possible the kid had a gun and his buddies hid it afterwards. The jury may have believed dunn, or they may have believed that the charge "murder" did not fit this case which was at best a "manslaughter" case. If the shooter and the kid had been the same race, that's what the charge would have been.
