Good Afternoon Zimbler!
Hard to figure out what the article says is not happening.
The rise of sea levels is a fact. It isn't something that will be determined by one disgruntled scientist measuring water levels.
Defining science by what you know as opposed to defining it by what others know is called stupidity.
The politics of global warming is well known. Politics won't make a difference either way unless man's activities that influence it are moderated.
Warm water takes up more volume. A greater volume of water raises the sea levels. Global warming is a fact. It is not a convenient fiction concocted with a political agenda that might differ from your own.
As an expanding percentage of the human population lives in coastal areas the issue is not one of a lie being told. It is one about how science can be used to seek a solution.
The greenhouse effect is fairly well understood.
The effect can only be studied by observation and computer modeling.
I am not too impressed with a college professor criticizing computer modeling. Computer modeling is a late 20th Century adaptation to the scientific method.
Denying that human activity has effected the climate on the planet is Luddite denial of reality.
That which is inconvenient to you or distasteful to you or uncomfortable to your politics is a personal matter. It is not science.
