Due to the actions and inactions of our idiotic legislators in Sacramento - we have had soo many of our precious, clean, highly valued high tech companies relocate and open manufacturing branches in Texas - that Texas has now passed us in gross $ of tech exports and in number of folks employed in high tech. We are talking about Google, Apple, Intel, E-bay,HP, Cisco, Oracle, etc.
What it comes down to is the cost of doing business:
Texas is 4.6% below the national average, while CA is 6.3% above. Where would you go?
Our governor and legislators seem totally unconcerned about this. Their interest is fixated on the greatest costliest boondoggle scam to ever be forced upon a citizendry - to wit - the High Speed Train.
What boozoos we have!!
