The Republican Revolution, Revolution of '94 or Gingrich Revolution is what the media dubbed the Republican Party (GOP) success in the 1994 U.S. midterm elections,[1] which resulted in a net gain of 54 seats in the House of Representatives, and a pickup of eight seats in the Senate.

The gains in seats in the mid-term election resulted in the Republicans gaining control of both the House and the Senate in January 1995.

Republicans had not held the majority in the House for forty years, since the 83rd Congress (elected in 1952).

...tell us again how all them evil republicans put them loopholes in the tax laws back in the early 50's.

Zimbler0,

If anything, there are more deductions today than there were back in the fifties after years of wealthy friendly Republican congresses have loaded the code up with them.

As far as your American thinker goes, it is basicly the American bullshitter!!!!!

As far as you go, calling people on this board halfwits only scores you points with Ribit who believes the same thing! You are free to peddle your bullshit here but don't think anybody believes much of it.
