One thing for certain, gay boyz frank and dodds
financial reform crap was miserable for me.

Before their misbegotten pile of crap was made law. . .
. . . . (If I wanted to sell some stock) . . .
I would hold my direct stock purchase plan stock for
over a year after my last purchase - and all my gains
would be long term capital gains. Easy filing.

After frank/dodd the law says such companies must
report how much I paid for the stuff . . . except
most did not bother to keep track of that sort of
stuff . . so the forms themselves got ridiculous.

Then duke energy got stupid. In their zeal to FORCE
me to re-invest my dividends, they got weird and
started to dividend reinvest the portion of my
dividend checks that came from purchases made after
the frank-dodd stupidity.

Duke thinks obamba is cute, so I decided I'd better
sell. No point in trying to hold for a year . . .
the re-invested dividends would guarantee I had to
work hard to figure out the taxes. To make things
worse, the clowns made me tell them to sell it twice.

I don't know how they managed to screw it up . . but
the first sell order got me a small check. So I had
to tell them to sell it again . . . then I got the
rest of it.

Filling out the forms . . it looked like I was gonna
have to fill out an extra four forms . . Long term
capital gains, short term capital gains, and which
ones were from the pre frank - dodd and which parts
were post frank-dodd.

I finally screamed F%$#K fwank-dodd and filled out
just one form and blacked out the parts regarding
pre and post frank dodd. I don't think the IRS
even understands how my taxes are REALLY supposed
to be calculated anymore.

By the way, on another of those horse-turd forms I
had to fill out . . . there were a couple of extra
blocks not explained in any of the instructions. I'm
pretty sure they were put there so friends of gay
boyz fwank-en-doyd can take extra deductions the rest
of U.S. haven't a clue about.

...dodd frank financial reform law? Isn't that like putting the fox in charge of the henhouse? The Bonnie and Clyde financial reform law would be about as appropriate.
