Then you think we should post a list of the world leaders who are a "pox on this planet who need to be removed" and that we should then send our young men and women in uniform into those countries, one after the other, and take these people out by force, eh? And who decides who's on this list? And how long before someone else posts a list where the President of United States is at the top?

Saddam Hussein was a pox on this planet who needed
to be removed.

After the first Gulf War, saddam's Iraq was supposed
to have all their chemical, biological, and nuclear
weapons ambitions removed.

Between the two Wars there was a steady string of news
articles detailing the multitude of ways saddam Hussein
was trying to cheat on the disarmament resolutions.

Ten years after the first Gulf War, saddam still had
some 500 tons of uranium he could not do anything
with. Why didn't he sell it? There were also those
super high explosives suitable for making nuclear
bombs with which went missing before the invasion.

There was also the kamel chicken ranch affair - in
which one of saddam's son-in-laws ratted out a
biological weapons program. You don't really think
saddam was going to declare it do you?

The Congressional resolution authorizing the invasion
also listed human rights abuses and terrorists as
reasons for invading.

It was well known that saddam was a proud sponsor of
numerous Islamic terrorists. And, saddam was accused
once of plotting to assassinate Bush Sr.

On the human rights abuses, Abu Ghraib was infamous
long before some Americans were caught abusing some
Iraqi terrorists inside it.

The Oil-for-Food program was legendary in the scale
and magnitude of corruption - perpetrated at the
United Nations.
