Except that after we got there it became apparent that Saddam had indeed bide by the terms of the ceasefire as we never found any usable chemical weapons nor any stockpiles of nuclear material other than what the UN already knew about and which was locked with the UN inspector seals still intact. The inspectors were only withdrawn by the UN after Cheney/Bush said that if they stayed that they would get their asses blown off by the 'shock and awe' attack that they had been planning since September 13th, 2001.

...there was only one war with Iraq. The invasion of Iraq by u.s. forces under bush the younger was a result of Hussein's failure to abide by the terms of the ceasefire (inspections) agreed to by Hussein during the term of bush the elder.
