There's no doubt that he had them at one time. The question is did he still have them when Cheney/Bush decided to invade Iraq? There is more than enough evidence to support the notion that the primary reason why the so-called WMD argument was made was because the insiders, the neocons, admitted to even themselves that America would NOT support a war with Iraq unless the argument could be made that Saddam represented a 'Clear and Present Danger' to the US and what better way than to make-up stories about poison gas and nuclear weapons. Remember Condoleezza Rice and her 'mushroom cloud' comment:
