yes. trial by opinion poll.

but here's another thought. perhaps, like me, many think that the purpose of any trial would be to dismiss the charges.

just because a person is put on trial does not mean he or she is guilty of a crime.

61 percent of Americans? Isn't that the bunch that can't name the Vice President, or their own Senators?

Or tell you what the First Amendment is about? Or the Fourth?

Or the Fifth? (Even though quite a few of them might have even used it! Shocked )
