hi doma,

this quantity of surveillance is a technological phenomenon.

the best medicine for it is exposure and policy change.

in the long run, it's going to be stopped in western democracies and we'll get the balance right. or at least better.

this is just an ugly phase.

one very good thing obama has done - reduce the three hops to two. this will curtail the scope of the active surveillance to about 1% of what it was, which is a big deal.

but the universal record-keeping must stop.

Most of the packs obedience is already firmly
