Have any of you ever seen anything by the political cartoonist Wiley Miller? He publishes his stuff under the title: 'Non Sequitur'.
Well it turns out that Mr. Miller occasionally drops by the same American Legion post as does a couple of friends of mine back in Virginia and he apparently uses what he overhears there as 'material' for his comic strips. Here's his latest:
The interesting part is that the guy with glasses is my friend 'Mike', an ex-Army intelligence officer, and the other guy is my old college buddy 'Dennis', the retired Deputy Director of the CIA. Anyway, my friend Mike claims that he and Dennis had this exact conversation a few weeks ago and I believe him as I've had similar type discussions with these two, both in person, at that same American Legion post, and during many extensive email exchanges, and it sounds just like them.
It's truly a small world, but I think Mike and Dennis should be collecting some sort of remuneration for providing such topical material
