Micro - they're purring alright - but while I'd like to think the current points will be typical - I can't help but think that this current high is caused by that huge pile up that hit all at once after not recording the points for about a day.

I swapped out a 250 for a 660 and while that improved my production, it would not have improved it enough to throw me up to that 291,000 that's currently showing up.

We'll see how it settles out once that huge production day moves out of the 7-day average - but yes - right now I'm a happy camper ;-)

Now I just have to figure out how to convince the better half that I need another computer yet here at home - ArVee is plotting already and I need a counter plot . . . . .

On your own home front - sounds like you need to rent a small office space somewhere close to home to set up shop in - either that, or build a small office building in your back yard. You couldn't build a small office over the garage could you? Some place that you walk out of the house and "go to work"?

Sounds like you're doing great and enjoying it - but I also know it will take a while to get things really rolling - but I know you have it in you and the best possible backing there is.

I'd say you got those BEASTS rolling!
And ArVee is rolling too!
Duit is really going great guns as well.
BAP has tremendous firepower but is suffering from some sort of computer issue. WHEN WE get that taken care of, he will be back in the hunt.

Mrs. micro simply is not going to allow me to run this computer at night. She doesn't really like it during the day either because it gets really warm in here. That GTX 460 runs really hot. They are good steady performers, for around 20,000 ppd BUT if I am going to do this, I would prefer a much stronger CARD with better yield.
My days of multiple machines are over now that my office is directly across the hall from my bedroom.

She won't allow a second computer in here folding away.
I have an idea though so let me work on that. I just gave my OFFICE computer to my older brother for free.

I used one of these GTX 460's in that machine. I could see if he would care if I re-installed it and let it fold over at his house. If he doesn't care, then we might get both of these working again, but the one here will only be on until bedtime.

Afraid this is the best I can do at this point in time. My life is changing and it is a big change working from home with mrs. micro always around wondering what you are doing and adding her "suggestions" when she has not a clue what I am dealing with. That is the problem. Maybe I could put a no trespassing sign on the door????? Or perhaps a sign that says "stay out" or "silence is golden" ?

For all these years I successfully worked outside of here while she stayed home with the children and I took care of the household finances.

All of a sudden after 35 years of managing companies and I now am home, apparently I need her expertise.

Well, I'll talk to my brother this weekend and see if maybe I could get that going. He is getting CABLE internet and television and phone service this weekend. Therefore his ability to UPLOAD finished units has greatly increased with 20 Mbs speed.
