We're struggling along at 65 today, but heading to 70's, and also, no rain, lakes are down, plans for water restrictions well underway... It's messing up the rivers, fish runs are blocked by closed openings to the sea, Russian River has been bulldozed open a couple times, but it's not looking good... Fire crews are manned up, serious warnings all around...

My irrigation, landscaping is about as minimal as I can get it, we've worked on it a few years, so we can travel without worry... No lawns, mowers, just rocks & drought tolerant plantings... There will be a lot of brown lawns this time...

Trees will be further stressed, likely lose a few... With the low snowpack, I bet a lot of forest land trees will fail as well...

All the vineyards will be target, huge investments, huge water users...

Imagine when Summer arrives!
