This high pressure ridge (it's 4 miles high and 2000 miles long) along our coast is blocking any storms from coming into SoCal. If it does not break up - we will become like Saudi Arabia - only, without the oil!

It's just hot and dry here.I have forgotten what rain looks like.

BTW, it was 84º yesterday and they're predicting 82º for today with absolutely NO rain in sight.

So far this season (July to July), we've had 1.05 inches of rain here in SoCal. Normally by this point in the season, we should have had nearly 5 1/2 inches.
