anyone says anything, there's always someone who appears to be "deeply" offended.
it seems pretty obvious that the public pow wow contains numerous offence trolls, searching for an opportunity to lay out their grievance and demand an apology.
are they really offended? or are they just seeking opportunities to exercise their offence muscle? methinks in many cases, the latter.
is society as a whole offended? or just a minuscule minority seeking to control other folks' opinions? methinks again, the latter.
not to say some things aren't offensive. but if a person has an eggshell personality, maybe they should just avoid reading and afflicting their offense upon the world.
i am offended by the folks who are offended by everything. i prefer hearing the opinions of people with offensive views than a diet of cold porridge defined by the offence police.
