I have difficulty understanding how ANYONE would owe more than $170,000 & be smart enough to earn a master's degree...

...professional students. They have no intention of ever leaving school or getting a job. Their fate is to attend school til they are old enough for social security. They will spend their declining years posting messages about how much the government should have done for them.
