...not that there is anything wrong with profit, but a lot of those "for profit" schools are giant rip offs. Maybe all of em. Come to think of it, so are the ivy league schools. Of course in this day of 'conspicuous consumption' where you learned it is a lot more important than what you know.

I suspect that the biggest issue is where one went to school. I would be amazed to find out that she attended a state-supported university and still managed to run-up debts that high. Now if it was some ivy-league school or one the many for-profit corporate-owned 'universities', I wouldn't be surprised at all.
